The realist five stars I’ve ever given you will not find a better barbershop in Chicago, the Midwest and most of America. This isn’t a shop full of IG barbers. This isn’t a shop full of I’m just trying to get paid on my own schedule barbers. This isn’t a shop of I’m gonna charge you $250 for a haircut and spend three hours on it. This is a true barbershop whatever you think of when you hear that this is that This is undeniably the best place to get your haircut. Started with Dang and just had Javi cut my hair but it doesn’t matter who it is all the cuts going be cold.

Shout out to Dang for this long overdue review. The man snapped on my haircut. I have a very difficult time finding someone who can get my fade and cut the top of my hair properly this man is a magician one of the top 3 haircuts I’ve ever gotten in my life. But aside from the haircut the culture that fernwood created is something that you have to admire not only as a client but as barber in the industry. Definitely one of the best shops in Chicago and definitely the best and most genuine brand. Everything these guys do comes from passion.

I've been seeing Kaila for years. She is highly skilled and worth the wait. I have seen other barbers she works with and have been impressed with them too. If I was looking for someone skilled with Asian hair, I would check this place out. However, they have a wide variety hair types in their chairs. I'm mostly white, but with a texture that a lot of people struggle with. I am also a hairstylist/barber who knows this shop has something special going on here.

I honestly do just review food but this place, it's an amazing place for a haircut. Barber Ethan does an excellent job looking after the details of the millimeter, good location the vibe generated there is unique, no doubt coming back for a next appointment. Pd: I didn't see a lulu :( 🐾
